September 2012 it's Senior year,
Everyone is ready to have a good cheer.
No one tells you how stressful it can be,
When projects, essays and homework is all you see.
Coaching keeps me busy it's never a bore,
There is not even enough time for me to snore.
Running from point A to point B,
Can't you tell this is getting crazy?
Overwhelmed by the third week of school,
I'm just trying to keep my cool.
Trying not to let my anxiety get to me,
I take a deep breath relaxation is key.
Everything starts to get sorted out,
I don't even know why I began to pout.
This is only the first of the ten innings,
September is the overwhelming beginning.
Hey Allison,
ReplyDeleteYou did an awesome job on your poem. I get a true sense of you while reading it! Also it's something I'm sure many of us seniors have felt this year. Plus, your last lines were a perfect way to end your poem! Great job :)
I know exactly how you feel! By the third week of school I really was just trying to keep my cool. We will get through this Allison! I love the ending of your poem
ReplyDeleteAllison I love your poem. Everyone says senior year is the easy year but honestly it seems harder then ever. especially with it being the last year. but hey the first marking period is almost over, so a quarter through.
